More than a Match movie
Eurotransplant ‘More than a Match’ is an educational movie on international organ exchange and allocation of deceased donor organs to patients on the waiting list for an organ transplantation.
The 13-minute corporate movie explains the cooperation of eight countries within Eurotransplant in the area of organ donation and transplantation, how donor organs and recipients are matched and how organ allocation is performed in the Eurotransplant allocation center in Leiden, the Netherlands.

What is Eurotransplant and what are its activities?
Eurotransplant is an international non-profit organization, that acts as a mediator between donor hospitals and transplant centers for the benefit of patients in need of an organ transplant in all its member states. Eurotransplant is responsible for the allocation of donor organs in Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Slovenia. This international collaborative framework includes all transplant hospitals, tissue-typing laboratories, and hospitals where organ donations take place. The allocation system is based upon medical and ethical criteria in order to ensure an optimal use of available donor organs.
