Statistics

Statistical data are published in the Eurotransplant statistics library. In this extensive statistics report library you can find and retrieve reports by numerous categories. New reports are continuously being added, and the existing reports are automatically and frequently updated. The biostatisticians of Eurotransplant regularly assist scientists who have special requests for biostatistical data.

Monthly statistics

Every month, provisional statistics are presented comparing the (cumulative) numbers for the current year with the previous year:

  • number of deceased donors used for a transplant
  • number of deceased donor organs used for transplant
  • number of deceased donor transplants performed, by organ combinations
  • number of persons on the active waiting list (at the end of the period), by organs needed

Yearly statistics

A yearly statistics overview for the last year and previous years is available in the Eurotransplant Statistics Library, showing:

  • number of deceased donors used for a transplant
  • number of deceased donor organs used for transplant
  • number of deceased donor transplants performed, by organ combinations
  • number of persons on the active waiting list (at the end of the period), by organs needed

Factsheet

At the start of the year Eurotransplant publishes a factsheet. This document contains essential key figures about Eurotransplant, such as total number of deceased donor organs transplanted in the previous year and the percentage of organs exchanged cross border.

Annual Report

Each year Eurotransplant publishes an annual report. This report contains information about the activities and intitiatives that were undertaken in the Eurotransplant region towards the internal and external parties with a vested interest in the organization.
